Junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor Office-Based Role (NQ2 PQE)

Property & Business Disputes

Location: Ashbourne
Working Pattern: Office-based, Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 9.00am to 5.15pm
Salary: £36,000 per annum (with scope depending on experience)
PQE Level: 0-2 years (up to 3 years considered)
Practice Area: Commercial Litigation / Business & Property Disputes

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join our friendly and established litigation team based in Ashbourne. This is a fully office-based opportunity for a junior solicitor who values working closely with experienced lawyers, regular collaboration and hands-on development within a supportive team environment.

You will gain exposure to a varied and interesting caseload involving business, property, land, estates and wealth-related disputes, working alongside experienced litigators and developing the skills needed for a successful career in specialist dispute resolution. This is not a high-volume debt recovery role. Instead, you will be involved in complex and varied disputes where you will have the opportunity to develop your technical ability, take increasing responsibility and gain genuine client exposure from an early stage.

The Work

You will work across a broad range of litigation matters, including:

  • Commercial and contractual disputes
  • Property and land disputes
  • Estate and inheritance-related disputes
  • Shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Insolvency-related litigation
  • Enforcement proceedings
  • Injunctions and urgent interim applications
  • General civil litigation and Business & Property Court matters

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
