DCS Group is passionate and proud about all that we do, the customers we serve and our people. Operating out of two amazing sites, we have the 26-acre Banbury Head Office and warehousing facilities, as well as our 100,000 sq. ft advanced Health and Beauty manufacturing facility based in Redditch.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Junior Commercial Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis within our Sales & Distribution division at our Banbury site.

Duties:

  • Negotiating with suppliers to deliver the most competitive pricing and profit levels
  • Using a category management approach to provide customers with tailored product ranges and promotions
  • Growing business with existing suppliers and identifying new opportunities aligned to profit targets
  • Recovering costs associated with residuals, overstocks, and out-of-date stock
  • Representing DCS Group at meetings, events, and seminars while building strong relationships with customers and suppliers

What we are looking for in our ideal Junior Commercial Manager:

  • Ability to prioritise and make effective commercial decisions in time-sensitive situations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Good commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • A team-focused, self-motivated individual who is adaptable to change
