Junior Compliance Analyst
Location: London (UK)

Reports to: Designated Compliance Officer (MLRO)
Dotted line reporting to: Head of Compliance

Vibanx (Canada) Ltd is a FINTRAC-registered Money Services Business (MSB) providing international payment solutions to corporate clients through a network of regulated payment partners. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Junior Compliance Analyst who is keen to build a career in financial crime compliance.
The Role
As a Junior Compliance Analyst, you'll support our day-to-day compliance activities, helping to ensure we meet our regulatory obligations while delivering a great experience for our customers. Working alongside experienced compliance professionals, you'll gain hands-on experience across customer onboarding, financial crime compliance, transaction monitoring and regulatory support.

Key Responsibilities
- Review corporate customer onboarding applications and conduct KYC/KYB checks.
- Carry out sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening.
- Review transaction monitoring alerts and investigate unusual activity.
- Support customer risk assessments, enhanced due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, procedures and registers.
- Support responses to enquiries from regulators, law enforcement agencies and payment partners.
- Support testing and improvement of compliance systems and processes.
- Escalate higher-risk matters in line with internal procedures.
About You
Essential
- Minimum 1 year’s experience working in financial services, or a similar regulated environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine interest in financial crime compliance, AML/ATF or the payments industry.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Desirable
- Previous experience in, or exposure to compliance, AML/KYC, financial crime or risk related activities.
- Knowledge or practical experience of KYC, KYB, customer due diligence, sanctions screening or transaction monitoring.
- Familiarity with Canadian AML/ATF requirements or FINTRAC.
