About the Role
A rare opportunity to take a trainee role at an Environmental and Chemical Risk Assessment Consultancy. This would be ideal for someone looking to develop a career in Chemical Regulatory Science and develop specialist skills in Exposure Assessment.
You will join a highly specialist team of chemical risk assessment scientists and benefit from comprehensive training in Environmental Risk Assessment, specifically the areas of environmental (and human health) exposure assessment. Exposure Assessment is a core step in a Chemical Safety Assessments. You will be taught how to assess ecotoxicology data to identify the hazard, how to establish safe reference levels, develop exposure scenarios and estimates and conduct the risk assessment.

Requirements
This role is ideal for a candidate with a degree/higher degree (MSc) in a chemistry or ecotoxicology related subject; ideally you will have some relevant experience in ecotoxicology, environmental science or chemical regulatory affairs as part of a placement year, internship or work experience – this could be lab, site or desk based.
It is vital that you have an interest in Environmental Risk Assessment and are committed to developing a career in this exciting area.
