Role Description

The Junior Consultant will support the delivery of health and safety services to small business clients in a part-time, remote role. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the development and review of policies, procedures, and safety documentation
  • Contributing to risk assessments and basic compliance checks under the guidance of senior consultants
  • Gathering information from clients

This position requires proactive communication, the ability to manage tasks independently, and a commitment to learning and applying health and safety best practices.

Qualifications

  • Ability to produce clear, structured written documentation, including reports, policies, and guidance notes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple client tasks in a remote, part-time environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail for reviewing information, identifying risks, and supporting compliance activities.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, online collaboration platforms) and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Interest in or foundational knowledge of health and safety principles; any relevant coursework, certification, or experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and ask for guidance when needed.
