Junior Copywriter
Reporting to: Senior Creative Content Manager
Location: London
Full-Time
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Junior Copywriter supports the delivery of compelling and consistent copy across TOAST's customer touchpoints. Working closely with the Mid-Weight Copywriter and wider Marketing team, you will create copy for digital channels, product launches, editorial content and customer communications, ensuring all content reflects the TOAST tone of voice and brand values.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career writer to develop their skills within a collaborative and creative environment. You will gain experience across multiple content formats while building a strong understanding of brand storytelling, editorial processes and content production.
The successful candidate will be a strong writer with excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in storytelling, culture and the TOAST brand.
ROLE IN DETAIL
- Write copy for the website, including collection launches, seasonal updates, landing pages and evergreen content.
- Write product descriptions and collection page copy, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with the TOAST tone of voice.
- Support the creation of customer-facing content across email, social media and other marketing channels.
- Write and update editorial content for TOAST Magazine and other storytelling initiatives.
- Apply the TOAST tone of voice consistently across all content and customer touchpoints.
- Support the Mid-Weight Copywriter with editorial administration, contributor gifting and content coordination for TOAST Magazine.
- Upload and maintain content across digital platforms, ensuring content is accurate and up to date.
- Provide proofreading support across digital and print communications.
- Support campaign launches and key marketing moments through copy updates, content checks and asset coordination.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, E-commerce and Social teams to ensure content is delivered accurately and on time.
- Use feedback from the Senior Creative Content Manager and Mid-Weight Copywriter and wider team to continually develop writing, editing and content production skills.
