We’re On the Beach! Since 2003, we've been rewriting the rules of how people discover, book, and experience their perfect getaway. What started as connecting people to short-haul beach holidays has evolved into something much bigger - premium beach destinations, long-haul adventures, and vibrant city breaks – and that’s just the beginning of our story.

We send around two million holidaymakers on their dream breaks every year. And we're still growing.

Powered by our deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit, proprietary tech, curiosity and our incredible people, we’re accelerating - delivering best in class technology, the ultimate holiday app, and experiences that keep our customers coming back for more.

Ready to build the future of travel with us?

About The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Creative Assistant to join our in-house creative studio at On the Beach.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious junior creative who has a good grounding in design and artwork, is curious about emerging creative technology and wants to develop their skills across a wide range of channels.

You’ll help us create everything from social content and paid ads to emails, website assets, mobile pushes and partner campaigns. The work will span both static design and video, so we’re looking for someone comfortable turning their hand to different formats - or keen to learn how.

You’ll also be joining us at a particularly exciting time. We’re building a new brand universe for On the Beach: the first major project of its kind to be created by our in-house studio. You’ll have the opportunity to help bring that world to life across the entire customer journey.

What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day

  • Creating and adapting creative assets for social media, paid advertising, partnerships, email, our website and mobile pushes.
  • Producing work across static imagery, animation and short-form video.
  • Taking creative concepts and developing them into polished, channel-ready artwork.
  • Resizing, versioning and artworking campaigns across different formats and specifications.
  • Supporting the studio with the day-to-day delivery of creative briefs.
  • Helping bring our new brand universe to life consistently across different channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Using AI tools as part of the creative process - for research, exploration, image creation, video, ideation and production.
  • Working closely with designers, copywriters, marketers and channel owners to understand what each asset needs to achieve.
  • Responding to feedback and developing work collaboratively.
  • Keeping project files, templates and assets organised and up to date.
  • Staying curious about design, content, culture and emerging creative tools.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll be a great addition to our team if you have the following skills, knowledge and experience

You don’t need years of agency or in-house experience. We’re looking for someone with strong creative potential, a willingness to learn and a portfolio that shows us how you think.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • A good eye for layout, typography, imagery and visual detail.
  • Some experience with design and artworking, whether gained through employment, freelance work, education or personal projects.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of Figma.
  • Some experience creating or editing video using tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or similar.
  • Practical experience using generative AI in creative work - not just an interest in it, but examples of how you’ve used it to explore or produce ideas.
  • An understanding of how creative needs to adapt across different platforms, sizes and audiences.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail.
  • The confidence to ask questions, share ideas and take feedback positively.
  • A genuine desire to learn and develop within a busy in-house creative team.

Nice to have

It would be a bonus if you also have:

  • Experience creating or building email assets.
  • An understanding of web design, responsive layouts or digital design systems.
  • Experience creating paid social or display advertising.
  • Basic animation or motion-design skills.
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and templates.
  • An interest in travel, entertainment, social media or popular culture.

We don’t expect you to be an expert in all of these areas. Part of the role is learning from the team, trying new things and growing your creative skill set.

You’ll be a good fit if you’re…

  • Curious - you want to understand how things are made and how they could be better.
  • Ideas-driven - you enjoy contributing creatively, even when you aren’t leading the brief.
  • Adaptable - you’re happy moving between a polished campaign asset, a quick social post and last-minute artwork amends.
  • Detail-focused - you notice when something is slightly out of place.
  • Collaborative - you enjoy making work better with other people.
  • Open-minded - you’re excited by how AI and new technology are changing creative work.
  • Proactive - you’re willing to have a go, learn from feedback and keep improving.

What You’ll Get From The Role

  • Hands-on experience across a huge range of creative formats and channels.
  • The chance to work on major national campaigns alongside fast-moving reactive content.
  • Support and guidance from an experienced in-house creative team.
  • Opportunities to develop your design, video, artworking and AI-production skills.
  • A meaningful role in building and evolving the new On the Beach brand universe.
  • Plenty of space to bring new ideas, new influences and your own creative perspective to the team
