We’re working with a successful, construction business that is continuing to grow and expand into new areas. They’re now looking to appoint a Junior Creative Designer to join the team in a newly created position. The business has a relaxed, friendly, and collaborative culture, this role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of creative projects rather than being limited to one area of design.

You’ll be joining a growing organisation where your ideas will be welcomed and you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact, working on projects for the likes of major construction developments to NHS healthcare facilities.

Role Requirements

We’re looking for a Junior Designer or recent design graduate who is creative, proactive, and keen to develop their career. You’ll ideally have:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Graphic Design or a related creative subject
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creative and digital design skills
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • An understanding of branding and visual identity
  • An interest in social media, content creation, and current design trends
  • An interest in animation/motion graphics/photography/video
  • Excellent attention to detail, happy to contribute ideas and bring your own creative thinking
  • The ability to understand a brief and deliver work to a deadline

Role Responsibilities

As Junior Creative Designer, you’ll become a key creative resource for the wider business, supporting a variety of teams and projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating high-quality visual content for proposals and presentations
  • Developing creative assets across the wider business
  • Creating and editing imagery and video content, creating engaging content for social media and digital channels
  • Exploring animation, motion graphics, and other creative formats
  • Supporting the development and application of brand guidelines
  • Supporting new business and tender activity with strong visual design
  • Working with teams across the business to understand briefs and turn ideas into engaging creative
