About us:
Who is GBM Group I hear you ask? Well, you probably already know who we are, without realising it!
GBM is a social-first creative powerhouse that acts as both a publisher and an agency built for how young audiences actually consume content today: fast, native, and culture-led.
We have numerous pages including Great British Memes, That Girl Page, That Student Page, and MORE, which across all social channels reach over 500 million every month. The vast majority of our social following also comes from within our home market - the UK.
At GBM, we take pride in what we do and make sure the client's needs are met while considering the needs and wants of our nurtured communities/audiences. All campaigns have a lot of care and attention to detail with nothing going live unless the GBM team are 100% happy with everything.
So to sum it up, we are a young start-up who are chronically online making organic and paid memes and video content for the masses...

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
