Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to support data collection, analysis, and reporting activities that drive informed business decisions. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to gather, clean, and interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights. This role involves creating reports and dashboards, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting business performance analysis. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, and passionate about working with data to solve business problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Perform data validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Support business teams by providing data-driven insights and analytical recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing recurring and ad hoc reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and business objectives.
  • Conduct basic statistical analysis and interpret findings.
  • Support data migration, data quality, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Document data definitions, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies.
  • Assist in automating reporting tasks and improving data workflows.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues.
  • Stay current with data analytics tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data querying and database management.
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and data modeling concepts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Critical thinking with the ability to interpret and communicate analytical findings effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in data analytics.
