We are partnering with a leading UK business to appoint a Junior Data Analyst. This is a permanent role based in Northampton.
As the Junior Data Analyst you will play a key role in helping the organisation improve business decision-making, operational efficiency, and reporting capability by transforming raw data into meaningful, actionable insight.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Support the development of reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs across the business
- Assist with transforming raw data into clear and meaningful business insight
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business needs
- Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests

Data Management & Quality
- Help maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across reporting environments
- Support data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes
- Assist with documentation of data structures, reporting logic, and analytical processes
Systems & Automation
- Support development and maintenance of data models and reporting pipelines
- Work with modern BI and reporting tools including Power BI and Oracle Analytics Cloud
- Assist with automation of recurring reports and workflows
- Collaborate with the wider Data Engineering team on continuous improvement initiatives

What are we looking for?
- Experience working within a Data Analyst or reporting-focused role
- Strong understanding of how data supports business decision making
- Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Business Objects, or Oracle Analytics Cloud
- Good analytical and problem-solving capability
- Comfortable working with stakeholders across different business functions
- Good organisational and documentation skills
- Ability to work with large data sets and identify trends or anomalies
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical capability
