• Monitor data quality and highlight issues, inconsistencies, or gaps.
• Work with data owners and system teams to improve data capture and integrity.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes, reporting methods, and data flows.
• Contribute to the development of standard metrics, definitions, and best practice.
• Support wider analytics and transformation initiatives as required.

Who you are

Essential

• Proven experience in a Data Analyst or MI Analyst role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, formulas, data modelling).
• Experience using BI tools such as Qlik, Power BI (or similar).
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

• Experience with SQL and/or Python for data analysis and automation.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and controls.
• Experience working in a regulated or professional services environment.
• Exposure to forecasting, trend analysis, or performance management.
• A strong understanding of legal sector or insurance industry business context, with the ability to apply this to the analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree preferable or equivalent experience in a numerate or analytical discipline such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics.
• Relevant professional or technical training (e.g. Power BI, SQL, data analytics certifications) is desirable.
