The Role

We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our financial services client's operations team. This role focuses on supporting business systems, maintaining data quality, producing reporting and analysis, and assisting with the development and maintenance of internal applications. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure accurate, reliable data and efficient operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support internal business systems, including CRM platforms and SQL databases, ensuring data quality and workflow accuracy.
  • Assist with the development, testing, and maintenance of internal systems alongside internal teams and third-party providers.
  • Maintain and validate client and operational data to ensure integrity across business systems.
  • Develop and manage advanced Excel workbooks to support reporting, analysis, and business insights.
  • Prepare and validate reports and communications for external stakeholders.
  • Document operational processes and maintain system configuration records.
  • Provide general operational and systems support as required.
  • Work to high professional and regulatory standards, demonstrating integrity, accuracy, and accountability.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and CRM systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics) is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
