Junior Oil Markets Analyst | Python | SQL | AI/LLMs | Commodities | London | £175/day PAYE
We're recruiting for an Oil Markets Analyst to join a leading global research organisation on an initial 12-month contract.
This position combines commodity market research, data science and software-driven analytics, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy turning large, complex datasets into meaningful market insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain oil market models and analytical tools
- Build automated data pipelines using Python and SQL
- Analyse large datasets to identify market trends and forecasting signals
- Create visualisations, dashboards and reports
- Apply AI and LLM tools to enhance research and analytical processes
- Produce clear, data-driven insight for stakeholders and clients
