Graduate Finance Data Analyst
Location: Central London (Hybrid Working)
Contract: 6-month contract
Rate: £340.00 per day via umbrella company
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Graduate Finance Data Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build their career within a commercial finance environment, gaining hands-on experience working with financial data, reporting, and business insights.
You will play a key role in analysing large billing and invoicing datasets, identifying trends and anomalies, and helping improve the accuracy and quality of financial reporting. Working closely with finance and business teams, you will use your analytical skills to support informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse large financial datasets, including billing and invoicing information, to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies
- Investigate data anomalies and provide insights to improve reporting accuracy
- Create, maintain, and enhance Excel-based reports and analysis tools
- Support the finance team with data-driven insights to inform commercial decisions
- Assist with the preparation of management reporting and performance analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and data quality
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to deliver accurate and meaningful analysis

We are looking for a recent graduate who is passionate about finance, data, and problem-solving. You will have strong analytical ability, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to work with complex datasets.
You will ideally have:
- A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline
- Exceptional Excel skills, with the ability to analyse data and create detailed reports
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- An interest in using data to solve business problems and improve decision-making
- The ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn in a fast-paced commercial environment
