About the Role
Join the Ipsos Iris team, part of Ipsos' market-leading Audience Measurement service line, and help shape the understanding of online audience behaviour across the UK. As a Junior Data Analyst, you'll work with rich and complex datasets that underpin the industry's trusted source of digital audience measurement.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their analytics career who wants to develop technical expertise while working alongside experienced analysts in a collaborative and innovative environment. You'll contribute to transforming data into meaningful insights that support decision-making for internal and external stakeholders.
Working with large-scale data, you'll support analytical projects, investigate trends in user behaviour, contribute to data quality initiatives, and help deliver impactful reporting and visualisations. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills in SQL, Python, AI-assisted analytics, and modern data platforms while building knowledge of audience measurement, digital behaviour, and market research.

Essential Skills
- Foundational knowledge of data analysis gained through studies, internships, personal projects, or early career experience.
- Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of database concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using and adopting AI tools to support learning, research, analysis, or productivity.
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or data processing.
- Exposure to Google BigQuery or other cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of data visualisation and reporting tools.
- Experience using AI-assisted analytical or research tools.
- Understanding of APIs and data integration processes.
- Knowledge of audience measurement, digital analytics, or market research methodologies.
- Experience working with large or complex datasets.
