Role Description

The Junior Data Analyst will support data-driven decision-making across GVW Web Studio’s projects and internal operations. This full-time, on-site role is based in London and involves collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various web platforms and business systems. The Junior Data Analyst will assist in building dashboards and reports to track website performance, user behavior, and key business metrics.

Day-to-Day Tasks

  • Validating data accuracy
  • Performing basic statistical analysis
  • Preparing visualizations
  • Collaborating with designers, developers, and project managers to translate insights into actionable recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Documenting analysis processes
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of data tools and workflows

Qualifications

  • Foundational analytical skills, including data collection, data cleaning, and basic statistical analysis.
  • Ability to work with spreadsheets and database tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, SQL or similar).
  • Skills in data visualization and reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of web analytics concepts and familiarity with platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and manage multiple tasks with guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Interest in web technologies and digital products; prior experience in a digital, tech, or agency setting is a plus.
