- Work Location: London, hybrid
- Annual Salary Range: 60.000-75.000£
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Fabric (lakehouse, pipelines, semantic models, Power BI) aligned with business use cases
- Contribute to the definition of the Data Target Operating Model (Data TOM), including roles, governance, and domain responsibilities
- Support the implementation of Data Mesh and Data Product approaches
- Define and standardise data lifecycle processes
- Collaborate with governance teams to implement metadata, lineage, and data quality frameworks using Microsoft Purview
- Support the design of DataOps and platform operations, including deployment, monitoring, reliability, and performance management
- Support the automation of data activities using AI
- Ensure alignment with FSI regulatory expectations (data governance, auditability, security, GDPR)
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and data products
- Contribute to architecture governance and design reviews, ensuring consistency and reuse across domains
- Build relationships and networks with key client stakeholders through regular on-site presence at their offices in the City of London
Qualifications and Skills

- Around 6+ years’ experience in data architecture, data engineering, or solution design roles
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (lakehouse, pipelines, semantic layer)
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
- Experience delivering data solutions within enterprise environments
- Demonstrated interest in data strategy, operating models, and governance topics
- Experience with data modelling and data product concepts
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and lifecycle management
- Exposure to data platform operations (monitoring, SLAs, incident management)
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to work in complex, regulated environments
- High level of empathy and strong team-working attitude
