As a Junior Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting our growing Data & Analytics capability, helping to build and maintain data products that enable smarter, data-driven decision making across the UKI business. Working with modern technologies, you'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to onboard new data sources, develop trusted data solutions and create meaningful insights that support operational excellence, continuous improvement and business growth.

✅ What You'll Do

  • Build, maintain and improve data pipelines that bring data from multiple business systems into our Azure data
  • Support the onboarding of new data sources into the DHL Singularity programme, ensuring data is available, accurate and trusted.
  • Create and enhance data models and data products that help colleagues make better, faster business decisions.
  • Develop insightful Power BI reporting and visualisations that translate complex data into meaningful business
  • Collaborate with analysts, developers, architects and stakeholders across the UKI business to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Support data governance, documentation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities to ensure secure and reliable data

✅ What You'll Bring

  • Experience preferably in the logistics industry working with data engineering, analytics or business intelligence solutions.
  • Essential experience of Microsoft Fabric.
  • Knowledge of data modelling, data management and ETL/ELT processes, with a passion for delivering high-quality data.
  • Strong Power BI skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset with excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Curiosity, problem-solving ability and a desire to continuously learn new technologies and ways of working.
  • An understanding of data governance, security and best practices, with a commitment to maintaining trusted data
