The Role

  • Work alongside senior engineers to tackle complex data platform challenges.
  • Take ownership of specific areas within the data platform, driving them to successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver pragmatic and scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to enabling fast, iterative analytics while ensuring reliability, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Shape how various teams interact with and leverage data across the organization.
  • Engage in problem-solving, from understanding business needs to delivering effective technical solutions.

What You'll Need

  • Solid programming ability, particularly in Python or a similar language.
  • Strong experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or similar.
  • Good understanding of software engineering patterns and architectures.
  • Experience building data-intensive systems.
  • Cloud experience, with AWS being preferred.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code principles, ideally using Terraform.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a focus on ownership and problem-solving.
  • Clear communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
