Junior Data Quality & Reporting Analyst

Department: Central Services
Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time

Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Quality & Reporting Analyst to join our data team on a 12-month FTC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills and a passion for data to develop their career in data quality and reporting within a professional services environment. You'll help deliver data quality initiatives, produce insightful reports and dashboards, and support colleagues across the business with accurate and meaningful data.

About the role

Scope, reach, and key relationships:

  • Works collaboratively as part of a small multi-location data team.
  • Builds strong working relationships with Marketing and Business Development teams.
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders and fee earners across the firm.
  • Runs data audits and reports for the Compliance team.
  • Supports other Central Support teams (IT, Finance & Central Admin).

As a Junior Data Quality & Reporting Analyst, you will:

  • Support data quality and housekeeping initiatives to improve the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of information held within the firm's databases.
  • Monitor, audit, and report on data quality across key business systems.
  • Extract, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources to provide meaningful business insights.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the firm to understand reporting requirements and business needs.
  • Cleanse, manipulate, and validate data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support compliance-related reporting and data audits.
  • Assist with preparing and validating data for bulk uploads.
  • Promote best practice in data management and encourage high standards of data quality across the firm.
  • Support GDPR compliance through effective data management practices.
  • Document processes, procedures, and data audit activities.
  • Provide support and cover for other members of the data team during busy periods and annual leave.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
