🚨 Junior Data Scientist | London | £50k + Bonus
Oliver Bernard have partnered with an exciting global technology & information business who are looking to add a Junior Data Scientist to their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to Machine Learning, NLP and Generative AI, working with large-scale scientific and content datasets.
🔍 What you’ll be working on:
- Machine Learning, NLP & GenAI solutions
- LLMs, embeddings & retrieval
- Classification, regression, clustering & ranking
- Semantic search, recommendations & question answering
- Building and evaluating models for production
- Python-based data science and ML pipelines

🧠What they’re looking for:
- 1–2 years’ experience in Data Science / ML / AI (or strong relevant project experience)
- Strong Python
- Solid ML fundamentals
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow or similar
- Exposure to LLMs / GenAI — ideally GPT, Claude or Gemini
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
