More about the role:
Burson, a global communications leader within the WPP network, is seeking a versatile and inquisitive Junior Designer to join our multi-disciplined Studio team in London. In Studio, we create ideas and bring them to life across integrated marketing campaigns, brand experiences, and brand identities.
Working closely with Creative and Design Directors, Senior Designers, and Project Managers, you will play an active role in crafting considered, original, and outstanding design work across multiple channels and touchpoints. This role is ideal for a passionate designer eager to refine their craft, learn continuously in a collaborative agency environment, and deliver high-standard creative solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualise and execute original design concepts across integrated campaigns, digital channels, and brand touchpoints.
- Translate client and internal briefs into thoughtful, high-quality design solutions while maintaining visual consistency and craft standards.
- Revise, refine, and amend design work based on constructive feedback from colleagues and client stakeholders.
- Prepare, package, and supply production-ready pre-press and digital artwork, ensuring all assets are correctly structured and archived on agency servers.
- Articulate and explain design concepts clearly to non-designers, helping to sell in work and interrogate project requirements.
- Apply consistent care, dedication, and attention to detail across all tasks regardless of project scale or media.
- Participate actively in team ideation sessions, inspiring fresh ideas and supporting a collaborative studio culture.
- Work closely with senior designers and creative project managers to balance competing priorities and meet project deadlines.

Experience that contributes to success:
- Degree or qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent portfolio demonstration).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) with an eagerness to expand digital design skillsets.
- A strong creative portfolio demonstrating versatility, typography skills, visual craft, and multi-channel design execution.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for graphic design discipline and craft.
- Basic understanding of pre-press production requirements, digital artworking, and file management principles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design ideas and receive constructive feedback gracefully.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced agency environment, juggling multiple projects under supervision.
- A proactive, inquisitive mindset with a strong desire to learn, adapt, and grow within the team.
