📍 London - Hybrid. 2 days per week in our London office, 3 days remote / work from home (40 hour week)

Goodlord’s mission is to be the gold standard platform for renting, and we’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team and help us achieve this.

This is a genuinely junior, entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start and build their career in graphic design.

You don’t need years of professional experience. You might have developed your design skills through a Graphic Design or Visual Arts degree, an internship or placement, freelance projects, or other practical design work. What matters to us is that you already have good design fundamentals, can show us examples of your work, and are excited to keep learning.

Working closely with and learning from our Graphic Designer, you’ll become an important part of our day-to-day creative delivery. You’ll work across campaigns, social, digital, reports, content and events - sometimes creating something new and sometimes taking an established idea and adapting it brilliantly across different formats.

There’ll be lots of variety, lots to learn and plenty of opportunity to develop your craft.

No two days are ever the same at Goodlord, so what you’ll be up to will vary. We also move quickly, which means priorities can change, and you’ll need to be comfortable adapting when they do (we’ll support you!).

The day-to-day stuff

  • Turning clear briefs into polished, on-brand creative across social, digital, email, web, reports, marketing collateral and events
  • Taking campaign creative and adapting it across different formats and channels while keeping everything visually consistent
  • Creating and updating everyday marketing materials, documents and templates
  • Using Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, alongside template and emerging AI design tools
  • Working closely with our Graphic Designer and the wider Marketing team to understand what they need and bring briefs to life
  • Taking feedback on your work, iterating and continually developing your skills across layout, typography, hierarchy and composition

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

You should apply if you:

  • Are at the beginning of your graphic design career and looking for an opportunity where you can learn, develop and get exposure to lots of different types of design work
  • Have good design fundamentals, including typography, layout, visual hierarchy, colour and composition
  • Have practical experience using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Can show us examples of your design work through a portfolio - this could include university projects, internships, placements, freelance work or other relevant projects
  • Enjoy actually making things! You’re happy taking a brief and turning it into something polished, rather than needing every design decision mapped out for you
  • Are organised and comfortable managing different pieces of work and changing priorities
  • Are curious, open to feedback and keen to learn from an experienced designer
  • Have a Graphic Design/Visual Arts degree or equivalent practical design experience - we care much more about what you can do than one particular route into design

It would also be great, although definitely not essential, if you have:

  • Some exposure to a fast-paced tech, SaaS or agency environment
  • An interest in video editing, motion graphics or simple animation
  • Experimented with AI tools as part of your creative process
