Job Function

This role will be responsible for supporting the preparation of sales presentations to drive new business commercial revenue or for the retention of existing revenue. The primary activities will consist of supporting the design team on image collation and artworking.

Main Responsibilities

  • Producing branded presentation materials for high-stakes partnership proposals.
  • Leveraging design skills in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite to create visually compelling pitch materials and presentations.
  • Produce digital and printed artwork that intertwines both the Chelsea FC and prospects core brand values.
  • Assisting the design team with creation of partner assets for tv interview backdrop boards, stadium LED signage, big-screen advertising and digital communications.
  • Researching brands and companies brand guidelines on how they display their brand logos and accurate replication onto any tailored Chelsea FC presentations.
  • Working with the Men’s and Women’s Commercial teams, understanding business requirements and creative brief to deliver pitch materials in line with business objectives.
  • Maintain the image bank for commercial purposes, ensuring this remains up-to-date, proactively sourcing and cataloguing images from other department stakeholders and club photography/image portals after matchdays.
  • Methodical filing of created materials and maintaining version control.
  • Understanding and application of latest Chelsea FC brand guidelines to design materials.

Measures of Performance

  • Ensure that all sponsorship collateral/online messages are consistent with brand and corporate standards, speaks the Chelsea FC ‘language’ and upholds brand values.
  • Consistently meet deadlines and ability to flag capacity planning issues.
  • Ability to balance quality of work against production and volume deadlines.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential:

  • Proven agency or in-house design experience.
  • Proficient across a presentation software and have experience of using this in prior roles as a main design platform.

Desirable:

  • Proven experience as a designer within the sports industry.

Skills and Behaviours:

Essential:

  • Passionate to work for one of the world's biggest football clubs and come eager to improve your design understanding and technique.
  • Proficient skills with Adobe Creative Suite; specifically; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Excellent time management skills and willingness to be flexible with working hours, subject to key deadlines.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good relationship, communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

  • In depth knowledge of high-end retouching and photo editing.
  • Experience in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
