Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Developer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. The successful candidate will work closely with senior developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to build high-quality software solutions while continuously developing technical skills. This role involves writing clean and maintainable code, troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is eager to learn new technologies, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining web applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
  • Support application testing, deployment, and production monitoring activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Learn and apply new programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
  • Ensure software meets quality, security, and performance standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements and development best practices.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and software development principles.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, or similar.
  • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Basic knowledge of frontend or backend development frameworks.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases and basic SQL concepts.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of software testing, debugging, and code quality practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
