The Company

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced food manufacturing business who are renowned for product quality across their portfolio, are looking for a Junior Development Chef to help bring innovative concepts to life.

The Role

Supporting the Development Chef, you will have an opportunity to input on new and exciting launches by applying your culinary skills to develop and refine recipes, as well as scaling up ideas from kitchen through to factory.

  • You’ll keep up to date with new food / consumer trends, ingredients, packaging and technologies as well as understanding the competitor landscape through product benchmarking and range reviews to highlight any product range gaps.
  • As a key member of the Product team, you will play a key role with managing the accuracy of recipes and timeliness for sample preparation in line with customer briefs.
  • You’ll also need to build strong working relationships with technical, process, commercial and production teams to support with factory trials, customer presentations and product quality assessments.

The Person

This role will suit a passionate, foodie and driven chef, who is looking for a move into product development or a junior chef looking to gain experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing group environment.
