Xelix is a fast-paced scale-up – things move fast and expectations are high. We raised our Series B with Insight Partners in June 2025 and are expanding aggressively. We have a team of over 150 talented people pulling together to achieve our goals. Everyone is trusted to take ownership, move fast and have a meaningful impact. We prioritise personal and professional growth, keep things fun, and love to celebrate a milestone together.
In this role you’ll grow, be challenged and help shape the future of Xelix. If you’re excited about building something special with us, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
At Xelix the DevOps team is responsible for managing, monitoring and optimizing our SaaS platform, i.e. ensuring system Availability, Durability, Reliability, Resiliency and Fault Tolerance. They support and work closely with our in-house developers, providing a world class developer experience.
As Xelix continues to expand, so have the demands on our DevOps team. We are seeking an additional junior DevOps Engineer to help us complete items in our existing tech roadmap and help us hit our targets for the following year. We are looking for someone who can help the team improve our CI/CD processes, automate manual processes to create a self-service environment for our developers, and maintain platform uptime SLAs by improving our observability stack.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
