Junior D&O Broker - Lloyd's broking house

Location: London (Hybrid: 3-4 days in the office, remainder wfh)
Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Our client is a highly regarded independent Lloyd's insurance broker with a strong reputation across the London Market. With a collaborative culture and a focus on developing talent, the business offers ambitious brokers the opportunity to build their careers within a successful Financial Lines team.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior D&O Broker to join a growing Financial Lines team. Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Lines, you'll become the number two broker within the D&O team, gaining excellent exposure to clients, underwriters and the wider London Market. This is a client-facing role offering the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, develop your technical expertise and progress your career within a respected Lloyd's broker.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the placement of Directors' & Officers' Liability risks into the Lloyd's and London Market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and underwriters.
  • Prepare market presentations, submissions and placement documentation.
  • Assist with renewals, new business and mid-term adjustments.
  • Work closely with senior brokers on a portfolio of D&O business.
  • Develop your technical knowledge and market relationships.

Required:

  • Some experience as a Junior D&O Broker.
  • Previous exposure to the Lloyd's and/or London Market.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a desire to progress within Financial Lines broking.
