The Change Partners are working with a Tier-1 global consumer electronics brand who are looking to hire a Junior Ecommerce Trading Manager to join their European D2C team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience across eCommerce, digital merchandising, website management or digital project coordination to take ownership of the onsite experience across a key product category.
You’ll play a key role in managing the customer journey across the eCommerce function, working closely with marketing, commercial and agency teams to deliver product launches, promotional campaigns and website optimisations. You’ll also use performance data to identify opportunities to improve conversion, average order value and overall commercial performance.
This is a 12-month contract role, with yearly extensions, offering a day rate of £260 via umbrella.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the onsite experience across the Mobile category, including Smartphones, Tablets, Watches, Buds, Laptops and Accessories
- Work closely with marketing and commercial teams to understand upcoming campaigns, product launches, promotions and trading priorities
- Coordinate and brief website and app updates, ensuring offers, propositions and content are delivered accurately and on time
- Support the onsite merchandising of key product launches and campaigns, helping to deliver against sales targets and KPIs
- Work closely with agency partners, designers, developers and delivery teams to ensure website changes are executed to a high standard
- Analyse website funnel performance and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to optimise the customer journey and improve KPIs including conversion rate, AOV and attach rate
- Carry out quality assurance testing across website and app updates before they go live
- Support the resolution of website issues and bugs, working with relevant support and delivery teams
- Occasionally make merchandising updates through CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager

Your background:

- 2+ years' experience within a digital or eCommerce environment, ideally within a large or multinational organisation
- Experience across eCommerce, digital merchandising, website management or digital project coordination
- Experience with CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager would be beneficial, but is not essential
- Experience briefing website content or functionality updates and working with agency, design or development teams
- Some experience supporting digital marketing campaigns, product launches or commercial website activity
- Strong understanding of website performance and experience using data to identify customer journey improvements
- Some digital project management or merchandising experience would be advantageous
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
