Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Editor/News Writer to produce timely, accurate, and engaging editorial content for our B2B publishing portfolio. This role is responsible for covering industry developments, market trends, regulatory changes, and company news that inform and influence professional audiences. You will also write features and conduct interviews across the portfolio – reaching out to experts in the industry for their insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Research, report, and write daily news articles, feature stories, and analysis for digital and print publications
- Monitor industry sources, press releases, earnings reports, and regulatory updates to identify relevant story opportunities
- Conduct interviews with executives, analysts, and subject-matter experts
- Meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and sales teams to align content with audience needs and publication strategy
- Ensure accuracy, fact-checking, and adherence to editorial standards and style guidelines
- Attending conference and producing reports.

Qualifications
- Ideally, a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
- 2+ years of reporting or writing experience, preferably in a B2B or trade publication environment
- Strong news judgment and understanding of business and industry reporting
- Excellent interviewing, writing, and copy-editing skills
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital publishing tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience covering a specific industry sector (e.g., finance, healthcare, technology, manufacturing)
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and analytics
- Ability to produce multimedia content (e.g., newsletters, podcasts, webinars) is a plus.

Salary
£30,000 depending on experience
