Role overview
We're looking for a talented Junior Editor & Motion Designer to join Studio La Plage and help craft exceptional films, social content and animated campaigns for some of the world's leading brands, as part of the award-winning integrated communications agency MHP Group.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who's passionate about storytelling, editing and motion design. You'll work closely with our creative team, helping shape films from the first assembly through to final delivery, while creating engaging motion graphics and animations that elevate our work across every platform.
You'll support projects ranging from documentary films and branded content to social campaigns, digital experiences and pitch work, learning from an experienced team while developing your own creative voice.
Working across a broad range of clients including Coca-Cola, HSBC, Harry Potter, E.ON and many more, you'll play an important role in bringing ideas to life through thoughtful editing, strong motion craft and a genuine passion for storytelling.
Ultimately, we're looking for someone who's naturally curious, creatively ambitious and excited to grow with the studio.
What You'll Do:
Editing
- Edit branded films, social content, case studies and campaign assets across a variety of formats.
- Assemble rushes, develop edits and refine films through feedback rounds alongside our lead editor.
- Help shape pacing, narrative and emotional storytelling.
- Prepare projects for colour, sound mix and final delivery.
- Organise media, project files and edit workflows to a high professional standard.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
