The role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing, polishing, and adapting a wide variety of content—including short-form videos tailored for social media platforms. You will work closely with our creative team to ensure all output aligns with our clients' brands, maintains strict quality standards, and drives audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality motion assets as efficiently as possible, with a very strong attention to detail
  • Short-Form Video Editing: Assemble and edit short-form videos including adding transitions, text overlays, audio, and subtitles as well as basic grading
  • Platform Adaptation: Reformat core content into platform-native assets
  • Collaborate with the creative team and use own initiative to deliver work with impact
  • Trend & Quality Monitoring: Stay updated on emerging social media trends, platform features, and best practices to suggest creative improvements for upcoming content.
  • Maintain a drive to succeed and desire to improve, continually develop your skillset and enhance the quality of the work we produce
  • Take responsibility for the organisation and admin of the Motion Department, ingesting rushes, organizing files, etc.

Required skills

  • A strong, professional, and unique portfolio of work showcasing a wide range of projects with a focus on social media content
  • Exceptional knowledge of key Adobe post production software
  • Highly creative and collaborative
  • Methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Experience of a wide range of workflows. Excellent organisation and file structure skills for managing projects from project start to delivery, including versioning and rendering, confident delivering across a range of platforms.

Location and working hours

This role will be based from our Leeds office, 9am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
