Typical Responsibilities

  • Project Support: Assist the Project Lead in planning, coordinating, and executing the transfer, relocation, and industrialization of manufacturing lines.
  • Line Ramp-Ups: Support the physical and technical setup, commissioning, and ramp-up phases of new production lines.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Actively contribute to the design and optimization of line layouts using Lean Production principles (such as 5S and lean line design) to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
  • Documentation & Coordination: Help prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and project reports.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate tasks and maintain close communication with interface departments such as Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively within the engineering team to solve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
