Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities

The majority of your time will be spent caring for inpatients and patients on the day unit, and you will have opportunities to attend clinics or radiotherapy planning, and teaching sessions. You will be able to take part in the on-call rota at a level appropriate for your clinical experience and training.

You will be able to benefit from opportunities to work with colleagues in our cancer sciences department and the new centre for cancer immunotherapy, our stereotactic radiotherapy service, and our bone marrow transplant unit. We have a busy and successful department, and we are looking for doctors at “FY3”/CT1/CT2 to help run our service especially our wards and day units. We are offering a unique experience to come and work with us and gain experience in different specialties. We will work with you to design a rotation giving you varied clinical exposure.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
