Junior Field Support Engineer
Contract: October - November 2026
Multiple UK Locations
£220 per day Umbrella
We are currently recruiting a number of Junior Field Technicians to support a nationwide technology rollout programme across the UK.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with some experience in IT support, hardware deployment, desktop support, field-based customer service, telecoms, or technology installations who are looking to gain further experience in a hands-on field role.
The Role
Working within your allocated region, you will visit retail stores to complete scheduled technology checks and basic equipment replacements.
You will follow a detailed checklist to verify equipment, record asset information, swap devices where required, and report any issues that need further technical support. This is a structured role with clear processes and training provided.

Typical workloads involve visiting on average 3 locations per day within your assigned area.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit retail locations to complete scheduled technology checks
- Inspect installed hardware and associated equipment
- Complete basic hardware swaps and equipment replacements
- Verify asset information and update records accurately
- Collect and return replacement or surplus equipment
- Complete service reports using handheld devices or laptops
- Escalate any faults outside of documented procedures
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused service

- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel within your allocated region
