Junior Field Sales Executive

Location: Northern Ireland (Field Based)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive and depending on experience

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven Junior Field Sales Executive to help grow our business by building strong relationships with retailers and identifying new sales opportunities. If you’re a motivated salesperson who enjoys working independently, meeting customers, and making a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Junior Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of retail customers. You’ll represent the Irwin’s Bakery brand, ensuring our products are well presented, available, and supported through excellent instore activation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships at point of purchase with existing retail customers.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and distribution targets.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to maximise product availability and visibility.
  • Negotiate promotions and merchandising opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback.
  • Collection of delivery dockets (PODs) from key customers.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
  • Assist with the organisation of trade shows and events.
  • Assist marketing department with social media campaigns and influencer collaborations.
  • Assist with new product launches.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree/ HND in Marketing, Business, or a related field or 2 years’ experience in sales/marketing role
  • Full Driving licence
  • IT Literate to include experience with Microsoft Packages
  • Ability to work well under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a results-focused mindset.
