Core Responsibilities
The role focuses on four main areas:
Financial Reporting
- Assisting with statutory accounts preparation and filing for all group entities.
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Helping prepare management accounts during company liquidations.
- Contributing to technical accounting documentation and accounting memos.
Regulatory Compliance
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns.
- Assisting with regulatory reporting submissions.
- Ensuring deadlines for regulatory and statutory filings are met.
- Monitoring developments in IFRS, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements.

Audit and Tax Support
- Supporting external auditors with information requests.
- Preparing corporation tax packs for external tax advisers.
- Maintaining strong governance and control processes.
Business Support and Projects
- Participating in finance and wider business projects.
- Providing ad hoc analysis and reporting.
- Supporting finance management on internal and external matters.

What we are looking for
- Interest or background within accounting or finance
- Degree level qualification ideally within Accounting, Finance, Economics or a similar related field.
- Studying or desire to study AAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- Good Communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Excel skills
