Junior Finance Manager
Location: Central London
Job Purpose
The Junior Finance Manager will support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate financial reporting, analysis, and operational support across the business unit. The role is responsible for maintaining financial data integrity, supporting P&L reporting, leading regional Contract Support teams, and providing financial insight to support business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of regional Contract Support personnel.
- Set objectives and ensure alignment with contract billing requirements.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to the Contract Support team.
- Promote collaboration and consistency of processes across regions.
- Drive best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Management and Reporting
- Produce financial and statistical reports to support operational and financial decision-making.
- Assist in the development and implementation of key performance indicators and financial measures.
- Conduct trend analysis and provide insights into financial and operational performance.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial systems and data.
- Support the preparation of Profit & Loss reporting across the business unit.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support the Finance Manager.
- Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.

Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary financial point of contact for enquiries within the business unit.
- Support and resolve financial queries from internal stakeholders and clients.
- Respond to escalations from the Contract Support team in a timely and professional manner.
- Build strong working relationships with operational and finance colleagues.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in financial analysis, finance management, or a similar role.
- Experience producing financial reports and supporting operational decision-making.
Skills and Attributes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with financial reporting systems.
- Power BI and Tableau experience desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage, develop, and support team members.

This role will be predominantly office-based in Central London and will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of operational readiness activities throughout the contract lifecycle.
