Junior Financial Analyst
Bristol, UK (Hybrid)

At Spandex, we're transforming into a digitally enabled, locally empowered and performance-led organisation. As we continue our transformation journey, we're looking for an ambitious and analytically minded Junior Financial Analyst to join our international Group Finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who wants more than traditional reporting. You'll work across budgeting, forecasting, business analysis, finance transformation and digitalisation initiatives, helping provide the insight and financial discipline needed to support growth across our international business. The role is designed to support a stronger digital backbone, greater local ownership and accountable execution across the Group.
What You'll Be Doing
Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis
You will help deliver high-quality financial information and insight that supports better business decisions across the Group.
- Supporting Group budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.
- Preparing financial analyses and management reports for senior leadership.
- Analysing performance, identifying trends and highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Supporting cash flow, bank and statutory reporting requirements.
- Assisting international Finance Controllers with reporting and analysis needs.
- Supporting ad-hoc Group projects and finance initiatives.
Digitalisation & Continuous Improvement
As Spandex continues its transformation, you'll help Finance become faster, simpler and more insight-led.
- Improving reporting, consolidation and budgeting tools.
- Supporting the use of Power BI, SAP and other reporting systems.
- Helping automate recurring reporting activities and reduce manual work.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
- Challenging outdated ways of working and recommending practical improvements.
- Using data to support faster and more informed decision-making.

Business Partnership & Collaboration
You'll work closely with colleagues across countries and functions to help build a more connected and commercially focused Finance organisation.
- Supporting local Finance teams with reliable information and clear reporting standards.
- Building strong relationships with Finance Controllers and cross-functional teams.
- Translating financial information into clear business insight.
- Taking ownership of allocated work and delivering against agreed deadlines.
- Contributing to a collaborative, one-team culture across the Group.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA newly qualified.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation capability.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different countries and functions.
Desirable
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting and visualisation tools.
- Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP platform.
- Exposure to IFRS, Group reporting or multinational business environments.
- Interest in finance transformation, AI-enabled ways of working, automation and continuous improvement.
