About The Role...

Let’s be real…

Most wealth firms talk about products, performance and portfolios. We don’t.

At Cooper Parry Wealth, we believe the industry’s got it wrong. It’s too transactional, too complicated, and too far removed from what actually matters to people. So we’ve flipped it. We focus on people first.

We help our clients figure out what they really want from life, and then build a plan to get them there.

No jargon. No ego. No “traditional wealth manager” stereotype. And now, we’re looking for a Junior/Trainee Relationship Manager to join us and start building a career that actually means something. You’ll be based in our London office with occasional travel to Tunbridge Wells.

This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch role. You’ll be right in the mix; learning fast, getting stuck in, and building the foundations of a brilliant career in wealth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Initially supporting Relationship Managers & Directors in managing and growing client relationships
  • Complete our T&C program so you can have your own client bank in 12 months
  • Help deliver genuinely meaningful advice, not just paperwork and process
  • Get to know clients as people: what drives them, what worries them, what success looks like
  • Build relationships across the wider business to spot opportunities and add value
  • Start developing your own network and confidence with clients
  • Learn how to turn great conversations into long-term, trusted relationships

You won’t be expected to know everything. But you will be expected to show up, get involved, and grow fast.

About You...

We are looking for someone who is strong at relationship building and can communicate with confidence. We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn and not afraid to ask questions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll need to bring energy, drive and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone. But most importantly, you’ll need to care about doing the right thing – even when it’s not the easiest option.

You could be a Paraplanner looking for your next step, or a Relationship Manager/Financial Planner in the wrong seat looking to kick on with a great opportunity.

We Want People Who

  • Keen to progress their career, working with new and existing clients
  • Have a passion for getting to know what clients really value, want to achieve and what keeps them up at night
  • A team player, who wants to be part of something big for the future
