Junior Footwear Designer & Product Developer
Based: Central London office, 5 days a week
Reports to: Co-Founder & Creative Director
Salary Scale: £35k–£45k
You will work side by side with our Creative Director to bring every Naked Wolfe collection to life: sketching and CAD-ing the vision, then chasing every sample until it is finished on time and exactly to brief.
Responsibilities
- Hand-sketch and CAD footwear designs from the Creative Director's direction, with accurate technical drawings and spec sheets
- Build and update tech packs: construction, materials, colourways, sole and heel details, measurements
- Research trends, competitors and the wider market, sharing regular trend and shop reports
- Own the collection critical path and flag risks to deadlines early
- Run all sample schedules with factories and sample rooms, tracking every proto, SMS and fit sample
- Review samples on arrival, record comments and push corrections until product matches the brief
- Keep the line sheet, sample tracker and product master up to date
- Support on accessories and other categories when needed
- Fluent in Pro-Create and Adobe.
- Attend factory calls and, occasionally, factory or trade fair trips
- Run fit sessions and log fit comments across the size run
- Keep a materials and component library in the studio
- Handover to wholesale: sealed samples, final specs and approved colourways

About you
- 1–2 years in footwear design or development, or a strong footwear-focused graduate portfolio
- Confident freehand sketching and CAD for footwear (Illustrator essential; Rhino or other 3D a plus)
- Understanding of shoe construction, lasts, materials and components
- Fast, organised and deadline-driven, with an obsessive eye for detail
- Always across what's new in footwear, fashion and street culture
