About the Job
The Opportunity
As a Junior Frontend Developer at JivPad, you will help build the interfaces that bring intelligent communication technology to life. JivPad is a modern communication platform powered by AI, enabling individuals with speech or hearing differences, and anyone who desires intelligent call assistance, to connect with confidence and authenticity. Our platform also delivers real-time translation for in-person conversations, removing language barriers entirely.
In this role, you will work alongside senior engineers and designers to develop responsive, accessible, and visually polished user interfaces. You will gain hands-on experience building real-time features, working with modern frontend frameworks, and translating design into pixel-perfect experiences that users love. You will be trusted with meaningful work from day one, contributing directly to the product our users interact with.
This is a rare opportunity to grow your frontend craft at the foundation of something significant, where every interface you build connects people in ways that were not possible before.
What You'll Do
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and high-fidelity mockups into polished, interactive web experiences.
- Assist in developing real-time frontend features including live call controls, translation overlays, and voice interaction interfaces.
- Write clean, well-structured code with attention to component reusability, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback that elevates the quality of the team's work.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of JivPad's frontend component library and design system.
- Learn and grow rapidly by engaging with modern tools, frameworks, and best practices in a production environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
