Junior Full Stack Developer

Company: PPC Creative Limited

Reporting To: Senior Media Operations Developer

Department: Technical

Working Hours: 09:30 – 18:00

Work Pattern: Full Time, Monday – Friday

Location: Soho, London

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Full Stack Developer to join our Technical team and help develop and maintain software solutions that support our creative, production and business operations.

Working closely with the Senior Media Operations Developer, Senior Media Operations Manager and stakeholders across the business, you will contribute to the development of internal applications, integrations and automation tools that improve operational efficiency.

You will work across front-end and back-end development, with a particular focus on Python and JavaScript, while gaining further experience with databases, APIs, system integrations, cloud technologies and workflow automation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with around 2 years of commercial experience who is looking to broaden their full stack development skills and develop their technical experience within a creative and fast-paced business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and improve internal software applications and business systems.
  • Work across front-end and back-end development using technologies including Python and JavaScript.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, database-driven applications and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Build intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for internal users.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and develop tools that improve operational efficiency.
  • Test, debug and troubleshoot applications to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Maintain and enhance existing software and support the resolution of technical issues.
  • Produce and maintain appropriate technical documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Contribute to good development practices, code quality and the continuous improvement of internal systems.
  • Provide technical support to users where required.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Around 2 years’ professional/commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
  • Experience working across both front-end and back-end development.
  • Experience developing or working with APIs, SQL databases and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and modern web development practices.
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git.
  • Good testing, debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and turn them into practical technical solutions.
  • Able to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, workflow automation or AI-powered solutions.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript or Python frameworks.
  • Comfortable working across Windows, macOS and Linux environments.
  • Experience within a media, creative or post-production environment.
  • Understanding of production workflows, digital asset management or creative technologies.
