Fintech Rec is recruiting on behalf of a growing London based Corporate FX and International Payments business for a Junior FX Sales Executive.
About the Role
This is not an entry level role or an FX trading position.
We are looking for someone with 1–2 years of professional sales experience who wants to build a long term career within Corporate Foreign Exchange.
You do not need previous FX experience, but you must have a genuine interest in FX, financial markets and international business, combined with the confidence and ability to sell.
The Opportunity
You will join a small, established and rapidly growing FX business that Fintech Rec has supported for several years.
Working directly alongside an experienced Head of Desk, you will complete a structured 12 month training academy, developing your knowledge of Corporate FX, international payments, currency risk, prospecting, consultative selling and client management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The objective is simple: develop you into a successful Corporate FX salesperson capable of building and managing your own portfolio of corporate clients.
The Role
This is a new business sales role where performance and revenue generation are at the forefront.
You will identify and approach UK businesses with international payment and FX requirements, speaking with business owners, Finance Directors and senior decision makers.
Cold calling is a significant part of the role. You must be confident picking up the phone, presenting professionally and creating opportunities from cold conversations.
The sales approach is consultative. You'll be expected to understand how businesses operate, identify their FX requirements and demonstrate where your solutions can add genuine commercial value.
