Job Description

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Designer to join Miniclip’s studio at Playsport Games. You might be early in your career, but you're already passionate about game design and eager to learn from experienced developers in a professional studio environment.

You'll work closely with our Senior Designers and wider project teams to help prototype, iterate, and polish gameplay features. You'll also play an important role in maintaining the quality of our games - supporting the team with hands-on QA testing, bug reporting, and playthrough verification as part of your day-to-day work. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build their design skills while developing a sharp eye for quality across the full development cycle.

As a motorsport fan ourselves, we'd love to find someone who shares that passion - this role will support our upcoming PC title, Motorsport Manager 2, so an interest in racing and motorsport is a real plus.

Here, everyone has a voice. We value fresh perspectives and want you to feel empowered to help shape the experiences we create for our players.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

  • Assist in designing, prototyping, and balancing gameplay features and systems.
  • Work closely with Design team to implement and iterate on design documentation and in-game content.
  • Collaborate with Art, Programming, Production, and QA to bring features to life.
  • Carry out regular hands-on QA testing across builds, identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs through to resolution.
  • Verify fixes and perform regression testing on new builds and features.
  • Help prepare and run internal playtests, gathering feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Maintain and update design documentation as features evolve.
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorms and design reviews.
  • Support the team with whatever is needed to deliver the best possible player experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
