Junior Geotechnical Engineer : London

Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP34,000

A leading UK multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join its established team in London.

With a strong reputation for technical excellence and sustainable engineering solutions, the business works across a diverse range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Its geotechnical team delivers services spanning ground investigation, desk studies, geotechnical design, foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, and site monitoring.

As a Junior Geotechnical Engineer, you'll support experienced engineers with ground investigations, interpretation of soil and rock data, technical reporting, desk studies, and geotechnical design. You'll gain valuable site and office experience while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Earth Science, or a related discipline
  • Some relevant graduate, placement, or project experience in Geotechnical Engineering is desirable
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Must live in or near London and be able to commute to the office
