Description
We're looking to hire a Junior Graphic Designer to work in our in-house creative studio at Footasylum. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will join an established team of creatives and content creators and be working alongside a team of highly experienced producers, photographers, art directors, stylists, and marketing professionals.
We are the only UK retailer with the ability to create and produce content for global brands in-house.
Based out of our purpose-built content creation studio at The Sharp Project, this is an exciting role reporting directly to the Lead Graphic Designer.
The Team
The Studio Team sits within the wider Marketing Department and operates out of The Sharp Project in Manchester. While our physical home is in the studio, we’re in constant collaboration with Head Office and the rest of the business. We work across Footasylum’s Own Brands as well as iconic sportswear and streetwear names.
Every day is different, and the pace is fast. From daily eComm shoots to full-blown campaigns and in-store activations, our team thrives on creativity, teamwork, and shared passion for the culture we represent. We’re committed to making content that not only looks amazing but connects deeply with our customer.
About You
You might be a recent design graduate taking your first steps into the professional world, or someone new to the design industry with a strong portfolio looking to take the next step in their career.
You're passionate about graphic design, eager to learn, and excited by the opportunity to work across a wide variety of creative projects for global sportswear brands. You have a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual communication, and are looking to develop your skills across both print and digital design.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
