This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy that will close in 19 days at 23:59 BST.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented, passionate and proactive Junior Graphic Designer to join our team.

Our design studio has a portfolio of exciting projects including blockbuster exhibitions, temporary and permanent gallery displays. The studio is fast-paced, collaborative and hands-on, designing distinctive and meaningful experiences for the public.

It is an exciting time to join the V&A as we expand our family of venues with the opening of Young V&A in Bethnal Green (2023); V&A East Storehouse (2025) and V&A East Museum (2026) in Stratford.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal person will be someone who can balance a range of projects and proactively collaborate with design colleagues in the design team, and wider teams – including marketing, curatorial, digital, retail, product and publishing – to encourage design coherence across multiple touchpoints.

You will design and deliver imaginative, inclusive and effective graphic and motion design for marketing campaigns, temporary exhibitions, permanent galleries, museum spaces, signage, wayfinding, print materials, and a range of other graphic and print assets, all adhering to our design and brand standards.

We’re looking for someone who wants to contribute to the ongoing development of our studio and keeps on top of developments in graphic and motion design, and identifies their relevance to the V&A. You have a passion for accessibility, sustainable design solutions, and will support the success of the Museum’s public programme, activities and goals across all V&A venues.

Please note, when submitting your application you must include a URL to your portfolio in the supporting statement section of your application. Your portfolio should showcase a selected range of relevant work and demonstrate the skills required in the role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
