Based in Bath, Red Central focuses on creating on-trend visuals that give clients a distinctive edge in the licensing space.

Role Description

The Junior Graphic Designer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bath, with flexibility for some work from home. In this position, you will support the design team in creating visual assets for entertainment and licensed brands, including logos, packaging concepts, marketing materials, and digital graphics. You will assist in developing brand identities, adapting existing guidelines to new formats, and preparing files for print and digital production. Daily tasks include:

You will also help research visual trends, contribute ideas in team reviews, and maintain organized project files in line with studio workflows.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create clear, engaging visual compositions.
  • Skills in Logo Design and Branding to support the development and evolution of licensed entertainment properties.
  • Competence in Typography, including layout, hierarchy, and readability across print and digital formats.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent).
  • A portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, attention to detail, and an interest in entertainment, pop culture, or consumer products.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively, work to deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a studio environment and remotely.
  • Relevant education or training in graphic design or a related discipline; prior internship or studio experience is an advantage.
